Privately made uniform of a Polish Soldier of the Haller Army (so-called Blue Army). The set consists of a jacket and trousers. The belt and boots are not included. Officer cut jacket, made of French fabric with rare american production Polish buttons.

A uniform with crimson lapels and piping, which unfortunately does not allow for unambiguous assignment of the unit. The Blue Army initially used red piping as the colour for artillery units. The uniform, however, has wz.19 collar tabs, according to the regulations already in force in Poland, the crimson tabs (and piping) were used by cavalry units and military policy. Nevertheless, a rare collector’s item.

Jacket made of gray-blue cloth, single-breasted, fastened with seven buttons. Nickel-plated Polish buttons, american production (marekd Superior Quality), in the center a crowned spread eagle. At the height of the chest and below the waist there are two pockets, fastened with buttons. Standing collar, originally fastened with hooks to the front (no hooks), visible. Collar tabs of crimson color with an officer’s zig-zag. The collar is lined with red piping all around.

Gray-blue shoulder board, fastened with buttons, around a visible red tab. Breeches-type trousers, fastened with a hook and 4 buttons, at the bottom of the legs visible button fasteners on each side, breeches on the sides lined with a red inset.

Uniform preserved in very good condition, visible signs of wearing and some minor moth damage as well as old repairs of trousers, abrasions.
