WW2 Rare Polish Eagle Cap Badge 1945 – Honor and Fatherland

 A rare Polish cap badge, probably made in occupied Germany or France around 1945-46. Eagle assigned to the Guard Company. Very good condition with signs of use.

  Badge in the form of an eagle with outstretched wings sitting on an amazon shield, the inscription “Honor i Ojczyzna 1939-45r” – “Honor and Homeland 1939-45” on the shield. The head is topped with a closed crown. On the reverse side, a mounting wire. Die-stamped. Brass with remnants of silvering.
