WW2 Polish War Medal – French Production

Circular medal, the front shows a crowned Polish eagle sitting on a sword with wings spread. The reverse shows oak leaves and inscription “Polska Swemu Obrońcy”, meaning “Poland for her defender”.

 A Polish War Medal awarded to the Polish army personnel which fought in the second World War. Version made in France, unmarked, production attributed to Arthus Bertrand of Paris.
