Description
Pair of patriotic Polish sweetheart lapel eagles. Made in 1940 in the United Kingdom to show support for Polish troops, at the time when after the fall of France, Poland was the only Ally of the United Kingdom.
Badges depicting an eagle with spread wings sitting on an amazon shield. The head is topped with a closed crown. The eagle with the shield inscribed “In Memoriam 1940” is made from white metal, the other cast lead. Size circa 29mm x 19mm.
