WW2 British 2nd Pattern FS “Commando” Fighting Knife

  A British WW2 Period Fairbairn–Sykes fighting knife (dagger). 2nd Pattern with a smooth brass handle. Very faint remains of etching (FS Knife, Wilkinsons) visible on both sides of the blade. Signs of intensive use, corroded blade as on photographs. 

 The Fairbairn–Sykes fighting knives were used dominantly by Airborne, SAS and Commando Units including the 1st Polish Independant Parachute Brigade and the Polish Independent Commando Company.
