WW2 Rare Polish Bosman War Navy Bullion Thread Eagle

 World War Two period Polish War Navy Eagle Badge used only by Chief Petty Officer and Noncommissioned Officers. These are the rarest of Eagle Cap Badges used by the Polish War Navy.

 

Made from cloth, silver and gold bullion thread, depicting a crowned eagle with spread wings sitting on an amazon shield, the amazon shield covered with blue material and gilded anchor. 

 

 Eagle cap badge used by Chief Petty Officers & NCO’s of the Polish Navy in Exile in the years 1940-1947. Very good condition as in photographs. 

This version of the eagle is mentioned in the book by Tomasz Zawistowski. “Polskie Orły na Czapki 1939-45” on page 127, illustration 251.
