Description
Single “Poland” shoulder title badge. These shoulder titles were worn by all formations of the Polish Armed Forces in the West.
A rare variant featuring an amaranth background rather than the more commonly encountered red background. This type was popularly worn by units of the 1st Polish Corps in Great Britain, the 1st Polish Armoured Division, and the 1st Independent Parachute Brigade. Condition as shown in the photographs.
The badge was most likely manufactured in Great Britain.
