Description
Badge of Polish Volunteers from Brazil. The badge is in the form of a shield with nails along the edge. At the top, there is a Polish Eagle in a Crown, below it white and red pennants. In the central part, the flag of Brazil. At the top, there is an inscription in Spanish “Los Amigos El Defensores” meaning “Friends Defenders,” at the bottom the dates 1939-1945.
The badge was likely unofficially awarded to Polish Volunteers from Brazil. A rare item, condition as shown in the pictures.
