Polish War Navy Medal, established in 1945, issued to seamen of the Polish War Navy for their service during the Second World War. A total of only 1150 medals were awarded.
Round medal made of silver plated brass. On the obverse of the medal is the emblem of the Polish War Navy, a arm holding a saber, surrounded by laurel leaves
On the reverse, in three horizontal lines, the inscription (Poland to its Defender). Above and below laurel leaves.
