Polish War Navy flag from the period of World War II of the Polish Armed Forces in the West. A flag made by Excelsior from London from a large set of flags obtained after the company closed. Together with the flag, a scan of the company’s catalog and scans of correspondence are added. A unique original example, currently the market is flooded with numerous copies and original examples are almost impossible to find.
A rectangular piece of fabric, finished with a triangular cutout, in the national colors of Poland, white and red. On the white field of the pennant, in the middle, there is a hand-painted, double-sided emblem of the Republic of Poland – the White Eagle with a gold crown against the background of a red shield.
The war flag is the most important symbol on a Navy ship and also the unit’s banner. Condition as in the photos.
