WW2 Polish Virtuti Militari Bertrand Gilded Plaques

A circular front and back medallions for the Polish Virtuti Militari Cross. The front medallion shows a white eagle surrounded by a laurel crown. The reverse medallion has an inscription “Honor i Ojczyzna 1792” surrounded by a laurel crown. 

 Very good condition as on photographs. These medallions are very often lost or damaged on the crosses, so these make a perfect replacement. These medallions fitts 3rd, 4th, 5th Class of the Virtuti Militari Cross.

 The French Paris workshop of Arthus Bertrand produced the Virtuti Militari crosses from 1920’s until the 1940’s
