WW2 Polish Special Beret Badge of 6th Armored Regiment “Children of Lwów”

Special Beret Badge of the 6th Armored Regiment “Children of Lwów”. The badge is in the form of a walking lion, made of brass with visible remnants of gilding. The reverse features visible die stamped and sewing attachments. A rare worn piece, condition as shown in the pictures.

The 6th Armored Regiment “Children of Lwów” was part of the 2nd Warsaw Armored Brigade, 2nd Polish Corps under General Anders. It participated in the Italian Campaign, including the Battle of Monte Cassino and the Battle of Bologna.
