WW2 Polish Soldier Portrait – 2nd Polish Corps

  Portrait photo of a Polish soldier of the 2nd Polish Corps of General Anders. A soldier with the rank of senior private. A beret with a bullion thread eagle on his head. Sweatshirt with shoulder boards in the rank of senior private, “Poland” badges on the “lapels” and badges of the British 8th Army. Above the pocket there is a set of ribbons, with a visible ribbon of the Cross of Merit with a sword.

  On the reverse the dedication “To the Memories of our joint stay in Italy, I am offering my likeness, Marcin, Loreto, on 15 VII 46”. – “ “Ku Wspomnieniom z czasu wspólnego pobytu we Włoszech, podobiznę swą ofiaruję, Marcin, Loreto, dnia 15 VII 46”.”
