A beautiful, luxury commemorative cigarette case after an officer of the 8th Małopolska Lancer Regiment (Kraków). This simple, very heavy, and large cigarette case features a small officer’s badge of the 8th Małopolska Lancer Regiment (18.5 x 18.5mm) soldered onto the upper left corner of the cover, produced by the Malina workshop in Kraków.
Inside, there is an engraved date (1919-1936) along with 35 signatures of the regiment’s officers, including:
- Kazimierz Mastalarz, Colonel
- Józef Pętkowski, Lieutenant Colonel
- Zygmunt Zawierucha, Major
- Stanisław Fedorowski, Major
- Jerzy Kluczyński, Major
- Józef Podczaski, Captain
- Kazimierz Skowroński, Captain
- Mieczysław Puzdrakiewicz, Captain
- Edward Szawłowski, Captain
- Jerzy Bujalski, Captain
- Zygmunt Zajączkowski, Lieutenant
- Henryk Breza, Lieutenant
This is a unique and beautiful item likely belonging to one of the regiment’s officers, possibly as a memento of completing service in the regiment. The condition is good, as shown in the photos.
