WW2 Polish Silver Badge of 1st Armored Division (Squirrel)

On the round shield, a hussar helmet and hussar’s wings are inscribed. This badge was the symbol of the 1st Polish Armored Division, called “Squirrel” by British soldiers. Beautiful piece, made of silver as a sweetheart badge. 

 The 1st Polish Armoured Division of General Maczek took part in the liberation of France, Belgium, Holland and the capture of Germany.
