A special badge, in the form of a shield with the coat of arms of Norway, shows an inscribed lion wearing a crown with an axe. At the upper and lower part there are visible holes for mounting the shield on a rope. The reverse is smooth.

Rope shield intended only for soldiers participating in the Norwegian campaign. Rope with a shield, the so-called Hakon’s rope, given to the soldiers of the 1st Independent Podhale Rifle Brigade, in the fights for the freedom of Norway in 1940. Extremely Scarce.
