A set of eight photos showing the Monte Cassino Monastery and the area visited by Polish Soldiers after the end of the fights, during the construction of the Polish cemetery around 1944-45.
The photos show the Polish War Cemetery on Monte Cassino, the Monte Cassino Monastery and the Monument to the 3rd Carpathian Rifle Division on hill 593. In most of the photos Polish soldiers are present.
Condition as in the photos. Interesting set of photos.
