Polish Eagle for the cap of members of the Soldiers’ Care Association (mainly women). The eagle was approved in February 1945 and was worn on brown berets.
A badge in the form of an eagle with spread wings sitting on an amazon shield. The head is topped with a closed crown. A drawing based on the pre-war Polish eagle wz.37 for field rogatywka. Sewn with white thread on a red background. A rare piece.
This version is mentioned by Tomasz Zawistowski in the book “Polskie orły do czapek w latach 1939-1945” on page 112, illustration no. 225.
