A patriotic ring made for the Polish Army in the Middle East around 1940 and sold as a souvenir from the Holy Land. Worn, among others, by soldiers of the Independent Carpathian Rifle Brigade and General Anders’ 2nd Polish Corps.

The signet ring in the center has an inscribed Polish eagle with a crown sitting on an amazon shield with the inscription “Jerusalem”. On the sides there are Jerusalem Crosses and the date 19-40, i.e. 1940. Inside there is a silver hallmark “925 – Real Silver”. Very good condition with a sharp image.
