WW2 Polish Paratrooper Wing Badge– Kirkwood

A Polish Paratrooper Combat Wing badge made by Kirkwood & Son of Edinburgh. Badge in the form of a spiking eagle. 

 Smooth reverse, impressed inscription “Tobie Ojczyzno” – “For you Fatherland” and the number 445. 

 Para wings 1-500 were designated for the graduates of the “O” Course of the Section VI of Polish General Staff, the Cichociemny (Silent Unseen) agents. Badges 330-500 were unassigned.
