Pair of red Poland title patches. Worn by all troops of the Free Polish Forces in Exile. A private purchase pair made in bullion thread. Good condition as on photographs. 

 Patches belonged to an officer of the 3rd Carpathian Rifle Division, 2nd Lieutenant Stanisław Hugo Carma. Born in 1909. Awarded the Cross of Valour. Took part in the Battle of Monte Cassino. Fought in the 1st Carpathian Regiment of Light Artillery and then transferred to the 3rd Carpathian Regiment of Light Artillery. Settled down in the UK after the war in Loughborough (Leicestershire), passed away in 1994
