Description
A pair of collar tabs with metal badges in the form of parachutists, worn on the collars of battledress jackets by soldiers of General Sosabowski’s 1st Polish Independent Parachute Brigade.
The metal badges, made by Kirkwood & Son in Edinburgh, depict a parachutist with an open parachute canopy, mounted on gray fabric tabs with yellow piping. The tabs show signs of wear on a jacket, good condition as shown in the photos.
An excellent and rare original pair.
