WW2 Polish Pair of Carpathian Lancers Collar Badges

 Pair of collar badges of the Carpathian Lancers (Ułani Karpaccy). Badges in the form of two palm trees with a crescent moon. Smooth reverse with two omega type loops, of the badges has a broken loop. Rare pair of wartime collar badges.

 The Carpathian Lancers regiment was formed in 1940 as part of the Independent Carpathian Rifle Brigade . Took part in the Siege of Tobruk. The unit later was incorporated into 2nd Polish Corps and took part in the Italian Campaign.
