Polish Armoured Forces lieutenant colonel’s beret, manufactured by the renowned British firm Lock & Co. On the front, a bullion-embroidered Polish crowned eagle, made by Czesława Budziszek in London. Below the eagle, a bullion rank insignia of a lieutenant colonel.

Berets of this type, featuring eagles made by Mrs. Budziszek, can be seen in photographs of soldiers from General Maczek’s 1st Armoured Division during the 1944 campaign in France.

Very good condition, as shown in the photographs.
