WW2 Polish Independent Parachute Brigade Silver Collar Badge

Solid silver, openwork collar badge of the 1st Polish Independent Parachute Brigade (Samodzielna Brygada Spadochronowa) of General Sosabowski. Each soldier of the brigade wore a pair of these on his collars.
A private purchase version worn mainly by officers, fine quality with a cut out between the parachute lines. Made from solid silver. Badge in the form of a soldier flying on a parachute. The reverse with a flat fasting blade.
Great genuine piece.
The above object was tested with a spectrometer, which showed that it is made of solid silver (93.98%).
