Set of 4 badges used by Poles in the Guard Companies. The set comprises of two BAOR badges (British Army of the Rhine, Mixed Service Organisation), unofficial enameled badge with a Polish Eagle and date 1945, and a Guard’s Civilian Training Center.
Breast badge of the Polish Guard Companies in occupied Germany. Designed by Eugeniusz Pietraszewski. Badge in the form of stylised wings, in the center yellow letters “GCTC” standing for Guard’s Civilian Training Centre. Below stripes and star of the United States. Numbered on reverse 3032.
Badge made for the Polish Guard Companies under the US command in occupied Germany. Scarce aluminium version with a visible die matrix and made of aluminium. Good condition as on photographs.
