Cloth badge made by S.E.Tietz of Tel Aviv in Palestine circa 1943-44.This version of the eagle is mentioned in the book by Tomasz Zawistowski. “Orły do czapek w 2. Korpusie Polskim” on page 140, illustration 211.
Patch belonged to Corporal Czesław Wasilewski, born in 1913, Army Number 1913-114-III. Took part in the Battle of Monte Cassino. Fought in the 6th Light Artillery Regiment of the 5 Kresowa Infantry Division.
