Polish eagle cap badge depicting an eagle with spread wings sitting on an amazon shield. The head is topped with a closed crown. Arhaic design. On the reverse a lead mark after a threaded spinner. Die stamped. Remains of silver plating.

 A 1939 pattern Polish eagle cap badge made from circa 1942 onwards in Palestine. Used by the 2nd Polish Corps of General Anders. Good condition as in photographs. 

 This version of the eagle is mentioned in the book by Tomasz Zawistowski. “Orły do Czapek w 2 Korpusie” on page 115, illustration 147.
