A pair of dog tags from a soldier of the Polish Armed Forces in the West: Tadeusz Wątroba, born in 1923, Army Number 1923-34-III of the 1st Carpathian Light Artillery Regiment (3rd Carpathian Rifle Division).Fought in the Battle of Monte Cassino, awarded the Cross of Valor. Good condition as on photographs.

Along with the dog tag, there are two medallions that belonged to a soldier, the first silver-plated brass depicts the Mother of God and on the reverse the Jerusalem Cross and the inscription “Jerusalem”. The second in silver, depicts the Virgin Mary, on the reverse “Ricordo B.V Del S.Monte Varese”.

  Round dog tag made of dark red fiber, soldier identification information embossed on the obverse, smooth reverse. Dark green octagonal dog tag with two holes, obverse with embossed soldier identification information. The green part of the dog tag remained with the fallen soldier.
