An original Polish emblem cut from the naval flag of the Polish Navy. The fragment is in the form of a red shield on a white background, with the Polish state emblem from the 1927 pattern inscribed on the shield in the form of a white eagle with outstretched wings and a crown. The fragment is of significant size, 76cm x 50cm

This is a unique, original piece, as the market is currently flooded with numerous copies, making original items almost impossible to obtain. The presented artifact was acquired directly from the family of an English sailor who received the emblem from Bosman Franciszek Doliński, a sailor from the destroyers ORP Burza and ORP Piorun. In 1939, Franciszek Doliński left Poland aboard the ship ORP Burza as part of Operation “Pekin”.

The naval ensign is the most important symbol on a naval vessel and also serves as the unit’s standard. Condition as shown in the photos.
