Polish Cross of Valor made for veterans of the Polish Armed Forces in the West. Version made of bronze, produced by Józef Panasiuk’s workshop in Warsaw before 1968. Version 30 according to Grzegorz Krogulec’s book “Krzyż Walecznych”.

The Polish Cross of Valor was awarded for bravery on the battlefield. The award is in the shape of a cross, with a Polish eagle in a crown with outspread wings in the center. The arms bear the inscription “Na Polu Chwały 1920” (On the Field of Glory 1920). The reverse features a sword and a laurel wreath with the inscription “Walecznym” (To the Brave).
Original period ribbon. Good condition as shown in the pictures.
