WW2 Polish Cross of Valor Legitimation Card – KIA Domański “Scorpion” 4th Armoured Regiment

Legitimation Card (award document) for Polish Cross of Valour issued posthumously to private first class (starszy szeregowy) Zygmunt Domański of the 4th “Scorpion” Armoured Regiment, 2nd Polish Corps of General Anders.
Zygmunt Domański born on 5th February 1915 in Chorupnik near Krasnystaw. Took part in the Italian campaign including the Battle for Monte Cassino. Killed in Action on 20th August 1944, buried in the Loretto Polish Army Cemetery (grave IX-B-19). Awarded with the Virtuti Militari Cross, Cross of Valour and Monte Cassino Cross no 29124.
