A Polish bracelet commemorating the conquest of Monte Cassino by the 2nd Polish Corps of General Anders. Made in Italy around 1945-1946.
The central plaque with an elliptically rounded shape shows the hills with the ruins of a conquered monastery over which the Polish eagle is visible. A decorative ribbon is stretched below the whole and the inscription “M. Cassino – 18 -V-1944” below it. The remaining elements of the bracelet consist of symbols:
Very good condition, as shown in the photos, covered with a rich patina.
