WW2 Polish Collar Badge of the Independent Parachute Brigade

A collar badge of General Sosabowski’s 1st Independent Parachute Brigade. This badge was worn by every soldier in the brigade on each collar.

Made by Kirkwood & Son in Edinburgh, the badge features a soldier descending by parachute. The reverse has a flat stud for attachment.
