Collar badge of the 9th Bologna Rifle Battalion, made most likely by F.M Lorioli in Milan/Rome.

A one-piece badge, silver-plated, on the obverse it features a stylized crowned eagle swooping downwards holding an enamel shield in the colors of the Bolonia coat of arms. At the top of the shield, the initials 9 BSK and the date 21 IV 1945 (the day of the liberation of Bologna), an enamel shield divided into 4 fields, two of them with a red and white bush, gold wreaths with the inscription “Libertas” – Freedom.

Smooth reverse with visible fastening post and spinner nut.
