Polish Badge of the 9th Flanders Rifle Battalion of the 1st Armored Division of general Maczek.

One-piece badge in the shape of a stylized eagle with a crown. The left wing of the eagle has been incorporated with the sign of the 1st Armored Division. In the lower part of the badge, the battalion’s initials (9BSF) are inscribed, separated by a shield with the Belgian coat of arms.

The reverse side of the badge is smooth, a threaded post in the center with a smooth nut spinner. Badge numbered at the bottom, No. 1302. Condition as shown in the photos. Badge issued to senior private Alfons Topoliński. 

The 9th Flanders Rifle Battalion was part of the 1st Armored Division of General Maczek. The regiment fought in France, then in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.
