Polish breast badge of the 2nd Motorised Artillery Regiment of 1st Polish Armored Division of General Maczek.

The badge in the form of a stylized crowned spread eagle sitting on a pennant painted in red and black (Artillery colors), on the pennant the emblem of the 1st Polish Armoured Division. The reverse of the badge is with a clear die stamp, in the middle a threaded post with a round spinner.

Badge made in occupied Germany circa 1945/6. Excellent condition with full original varnish paint. 

2nd Motorised Artillery Regiment  was part of the 1st Polish Armoured Division of General Maczek and took part in fights in France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany.

This version of the badge is described under number 55c according to Tony Leszczuk’s & Krzysztof Barbarski book “The Polish Army in The West 1939-1947”.
