A rectangular Christmas card which presents the Polish interpretation of the Nativity Scene; a church with three towers, below a stable full of hay in which new born Christ rests, on the right the shepherds greeting him dressed in Polish folk costumes and on the left a soldier in the uniforms of the Polish Armed Forces in the West , and a uniform from the 19th Century Uprising periods. Below an inscription “This card was designed by a Polish Soldier now in Great Britain”

On the reverse, an inscription in two languages, Polish and English (A Christmas Crib in Scotland 1940, Polish Tradition).
