A World War Two period period Polish Air Force 1936 pattern eagle cap badge for Other Ranks and Non-Commissioned Officers. Workshop lead cast example, made most likely at the early stage of Polish Air Force in France (1939/40) or Polish Air Force in Great Britain (1940).

In a well-known photo from June 1942 from Auchtertool ,Great Britain (Polish Sikorski Institute Collection) with aviation volunteers evacuated from the USSR, the wz.36 Polish Air Force eagles are visible on their side caps. This may be such an example.

Polish Badge depicting an eagle with spread wings sitting on an amazon shield. The head is topped with a closed crown, surrounded by a pair of Polish Hussars Wings to the sides. To the reverse a threaded post. A fine original cap badge.
