 Polish Air Medal of the Polish Armed Forces in the West, probably made by Mieczysław Białkiewicz in London.

A round medal, made of white soft metal alloy, on the obverse of the medal there is the symbol of the Polish Air Force (chessboard), around the rim a laurel wreath.

On the reverse of the medal in the middle, an inscription in three lines (POLSKA SWEMU OBROŃCY) in English – Poland for its Defender, surrounded by a laurel wreath. Blue ribbon with vertical white stripes on both sides.

The Polish Air Force Medal was established on July 3, 1945 by the decree of the President of the Republic of Poland in exile. Medal awarded only to Air Force soldiers.
