Description
Cross shaped badge with rounded ends. On the arms letters 5KDP (shortcut for 5 Kresowa Dywizja Piechoty). In the middle a yellow enameled shield with a bison in the middle.
Threaded post with spinner, marked with the maker F.M Lorioli Milano Roma. Good worn condition as on photographs.
Badge belonged to Corporal Czesław Wasilewski, born in 1913, Army Number 1913-114-III. Took part in the Battle of Monte Cassino. Fought in the 6th Light Artillery Regiment of the 5 Kresowa Infantry Division.
