WW2 Polish 2nd Corps “Mermaid” Patch

Shield-shaped badge made of red material. around the shield a white frame, in the center of the shield there is a white mermaid holding a sword and a shield (coat of arms of Warsaw).

 Insignia of the 2nd Corps of Polish General Anders, worn on the left sleeve of the uniform. Good condition as in photographs. The technique of production suggests that the patch could have been made by S.E.Tietz of Tel Aviv.
