A round cream green ceramic wall plate, made to commemorate the liberation of Breda by the Polish troops of the 1st Polish Armoured Division of General Maczek.

 Plate in the form of a laurel leaf crown, to the background view of Breda. In the center a coat of arms of Poland – a crowned white eagle with spread wings. Inscribed “Bevrijding Door de Polen 29 Oct 1944, Breda” – Liberation By the Poles 29 October 1944 Breda. 

 Very good condition as on photographs with a no chips. On the reverse the producer’s mark is impressed (Mosa Maastricht) and a glued paper dedication in Dutch: “Breda 6th August 1945, Offered in gratitude by the Orange College(?) for services rendered”.
