Description
An unusual miniature Polish Navy Eagle badge produced during World War II, with exceptional craftsmanship.
This badge was likely worn as a patriotic brooch and is also known to have been worn on the pocket of the uniform (Green Khaki Officer’s French) by a Liaison Officer with the Polish Navy.
The emblem features an eagle with outstretched wings, perched on a blue Amazonian shield with an anchor. The eagle is crowned with a closed crown. The entire design is surrounded by a golden laurel wreath set against a dark navy background.
