Description
Death certificate issued in Gostynin on September 21, 1945, by a priest regarding Władysław Dąbrowski, director of the Municipal Bank in Gostynin, murdered (shot) by the Germans on December 1st, 1939 in Wólka Łącka.
Władysław Dąbrowski along with 28 representatives of Gostynin’s local intelligentsia (including four Jews) were secretly murdered by the Germans and buried in an unmarked grave. Shots were fired in the back of the head. Only Fr. Stankiewicz had his head cut off.
Document in good condition, on the reverse a handwritten note depicting the circumstances of death.
