WW2 British Air Force Silk Escape Map – Poland

A World War Two period British Silk Escape map of Poland, Germany, Slovakia, Hungary, Italy, Croatia, Montenegro, Switzerland. 

 Such maps were used by British, Polish and American pilots which made supply and SOE drops over German & Soviet occupied Poland including the air drops to the Home Army during the Warsaw Uprising in August/September 1944. In the event of emergency landing, these were to help escape and find Allied forces.
