A postcard-format portrait photo from around 1917-1920 depicting a soldier of General Józef Haller’s Blue Army from the 1st Polish Rifle Regiment. The soldier is standing, holding a French Lebel rifle with a bayonet. On his head, he wears an enlisted man’s “rogatywka” cap with a metal eagle made in the USA, used by Polish Volunteers from North America.
