Officer’s Eagle on the shoulder board of the Polish Army in France from the period 1918/19, worn on the shoulder boards by officers of General Józef Haller’s Army. The eagle was probably made by Alavione in France around 1918-19.

A patch in the form of a silver eagle with spread wings in a crown, in an oval shield, embroidered with a silver bead on amaranth material.

A similar version of the eagle is mentioned in the book by Tomasz Zawistowski.“Polskie Orły na Czapki 1917-19” on page 117-118, illustration 218-225.
