Miniature Polish Army Eagle badge used by Polish units under the Austrian command during the First World War, by some people attributed to the Polish Eastern Corps. Badge most likely made by Bruder Schneider in Vienna.

Badge in the form of an eagle without a crown with outstretched wings to the top, facing the right wing, resting on the amazon’s shield. Smooth Reverse.

This version of the eagle is mentioned in the book by Tomasz Zawistowski. “Polskie Orły na Czapki 1900-17” on page 300, illustration 486.
