Polish Eagle of the Greater Poland Army, used by the Greater Poland Army and the Greater Poland Insurgents in the year 1919-1912. A rarer variety, smaller than the standard versions.

A crowned eagle with wings spread upwards, the characteristic connection of the eagle’s beak with the wing in this variety is visible. Die struck eagle, broken fixing wires, a later threaded post in the middle.

Eagle featured in Tomasz Zawistowski’s book “Polish Eagles for Hats 1917 – 1919” on page 178, illustration 315.
